Because we want everyone to be able to wear their babies in the safest way possible, we're making some safety documents available for download.  These documents were written by M'Liss Stelzer, who wrote the big babywearing article that appeared in Mothering Magazine a few years ago and who has done extensive research on babywearing safety.  These are the documents that we make available at formal classes, and now they're available to the group at large.  We recommend that anyone who is planning on wearing a newborn take a look at them for valuable information about proper positioning in various carriers.  These documents are meant to compliment the information that you get at meetings, not necessarily as a substitute (though we know that life with a new baby can be hectic and getting to a meeting can be a challenge).
